INTRODUCTION TO MAC OS IMAG 825
Learn how to use a popular graphic design platform – the Macintosh or Mac computer. Explore the essential elements of the Mac’s hardware, operating system and user interface, including navigation, file management and shortcut keys, as well as toolbars, quick menu methods and the more basic functions. You will also have the opportunity to explore the Mac OS system software and its integration with many of the design applications. The classroom-networking environment including connecting to a Humber server and outputting to printing devices will also be discussed. Time will also devoted specifically to file management, font management and general application interfacing: essential skills every participant needs to continue with the subsequent courses in the program.
